Make the most of Yellowknife's short garage sale season

Timing Is Everything

Saturday mornings (8-9 AM) are peak time. Post your sale on YKBuddy at least a few days early so people can plan routes.

Put price stickers on items. Shoppers move faster when they don't have to ask about every item. Consider a 'Fill a bag for $5' bin.

Yellowknife weather changes fast. Have a tarp or garage/carport ready. If rain hits, update your YKBuddy listing with a note.

Put out signs at intersections. Balloons help. Make sure your address is easy to find on YKBuddy's map.
